Head Injuries / Head Trauma

Evaluating Risk Factors: Head Injury

Evaluating your likely current (and near future) state of health means taking into account the risk factors — such as head injuries / head trauma — that affect you.   Our medical diagnosis tool, The Analyst™, identifies major risk factors by asking the right questions.

Diagnose your symptoms now!
  • check your overall health status
  • let The Analyst™ find what's wrong
  • learn what you should be doing right now
In the Mind Health section of the questionnaire, The Analyst™ will ask the following question about head injuries / head trauma:
Have you ever suffered significant head injury/trauma?
Possible responses:
→ Don't know
→ No, definitely not
→ Moderate - I was knocked unconscious
→ Serious - surgery was required
→ Severe - some brain damage occurred

The Diagnostic Process

Based on your response to this question, which may indicate no history of head injury, past head injury or serious past head injury, The Analyst™ will use differential diagnosis to consider possibilities such as Alzheimer's Disease.  Besides age and genetics, most experts agree the evidence is conclusive enough to name serious head injury as a strong risk factor for the disease.  Inflammation in the brain can lead to the death of cells which contributes to the disease.
