Cardiomyopathy

Definition of Cardiomyopathy:

A relatively rare chronic disease where the heart muscle is abnormally enlarged, thickened, and/or stiffened, unable to pump blood effectively, resulting in irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias) and possibly heart failure.
