Desmoid Tumor

Definition of Desmoid Tumor:

A fibrous tissue tumor with features in between fibrosarcoma and benign tumors such as fibromas and superficial fibromatosis.  Desmoid tumors do not metastasize, but they can invade nearby tissues and are sometimes fatal.
