Parasite Cleanse
  Parasite Cleanse
 Recommended for…

Parasite Cleansing generally involves a program of herbal nutrition and other procedures to rid the body of unwanted parasites. Parasites are not always visible in bowel movements. Anyone who eats meat or dairy products, drinks city or well water, or is exposed to toxins in the environment is at risk for parasites. Travel to foreign countries also increases risk. A parasite cleanse process is simple, painless, and usually has few or no side-effects. A parasite cleanse also prepares the bowel and makes it more receptive to absorbing other herbs.

Various stages are generally employed, for example:

  • Cleansing and creating an environment that is unfavorable to the survival of all parasites
  • Killing the parasites
  • Cleansing the body of waste and toxins.
When parasites are present, avoid foods that stimulate parasite growth, such as wheat and other gluten-containing grains like barley, oats, rye, spelt, amaranth, millet and Kamut. Dairy products, eggs, artificial sweeteners and additives, alcohol, caffeine, sugar, soft drinks, unfiltered tap water and peanuts, cashews and their products also feed parasite growth. Instead, try to eat foods less likely to encourage parasite growth. Foods high in carotene, like sweet potatoes, carrots, spinach, cantaloupe, kale and squash are recommended. Also recommended are rice products, high vitamin-C and antioxidant rich foods such as citrus fruits, broccoli, strawberries, melons and Brussels sprouts. Buckwheat and all fresh and dried fruits are good, and soy, rice or almond milk are excellent alternatives to dairy products. Cabbage is the only salad green that never harbours parasites which infests humans.

Important note: Antibiotic use kills both the good and the bad bacteria indiscriminately upsetting the natural ecology of the gastrointestinal tract, setting the stage for infections.

Parasite Cleanse can help with the following:
Parasites  Parasite Infection
If you suspect parasites, you may simply have to confirm this by taking an anti-parasite cleanse.

GLOSSARY

Antioxidant (Antioxidants)
A chemical compound that slows or prevents oxygen from reacting with other compounds. Antioxidants are substances that protect cells from oxidative damage caused by molecules called free radicals. These chemicals can damage important parts of cells, such as proteins, membranes, and DNA. Some antioxidants have been shown to have cancer-protecting potential because they neutralize free radicals. Examples include vitamins C and E, beta carotene, the minerals selenium and germanium, superoxide dismutase (SOD), coenzyme Q10, catalase, and some amino acids.

Bacteria (Bacterial, Bacterium)
Microscopic germs. Some bacteria are "harmful" and can cause disease, while other "friendly" bacteria protect the body from harmful invading organisms.

Carotene
Converted into vitamin A in the body from a yellow pigment that has several forms (i.e., alpha-, beta-, and gamma-carotene).

Gastrointestinal (GI, GI Tract)
Pertaining to the stomach, small and large intestines, colon, rectum, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.

Herbs (Herb, Herbal)
Herbs may be used as dried extracts (capsules, powders, teas), glycerites (glycerine extracts), or tinctures (alcohol extracts). Unless otherwise indicated, teas should be made with one teaspoon herb per cup of hot water. Steep covered 5 to 10 minutes for leaf or flowers, and 10 to 20 minutes for roots. Tinctures may be used singly or in combination as noted. The high doses of single herbs suggested may be best taken as dried extracts (in capsules), although tinctures (60 drops four times per day) and teas (4 to 6 cups per day) may also be used.

Parasite (Parasites, Parasitic, Parasitical)
An organism living in or on another organism.
