Number Of Different Sexual Partners

Evaluating Risk Factors: Multiple Sex Partners

Evaluating your likely current (and near future) state of health means taking into account the risk factors — such as number of different sexual partners — that affect you.   Our medical diagnosis tool, The Analyst™, identifies major risk factors by asking the right questions.

Diagnose your symptoms now!
  • check your overall health status
  • have a doctor review your case (optional)
  • learn what you should be doing right now
In the Reproductive Symptoms section of the questionnaire, The Analyst™ will ask the following question about number of different sexual partners:
What is the approximate number of sexual partners that you have had during your lifetime?
Possible responses:
→ Prefer not to say / don't know
→ One or fewer
→ 2 to 5
→ 6 to 20
→ Over 20

The Diagnostic Process

Based on your response to this question, which may indicate one or fewer sexual partners, having had a few sexual partners, having had many sexual partners or having had very many sexual partners, The Analyst™ will use differential diagnosis to consider possibilities such as:
Cervical Cancer

Increased risk is associated with multiple sexual partners.

STD Chlamydia

Routine chlamydia screening is strongly recommended for asymptomatic women at increased risk for infection, meaning having more than one sexual partner and/or not using condoms consistently and correctly.
