Hysterectomy

Evaluating Risk Factors: Hysterectomy / Womb Removal

Evaluating your likely current (and near future) state of health means taking into account the risk factors — such as hysterectomy — that affect you.   Our medical diagnosis tool, The Analyst™, identifies major risk factors by asking the right questions.

Diagnose your symptoms now!
  • check your overall health status
  • let The Analyst™ find what's wrong
  • identify any nutritional deficiencies
If you indicate having undergone surgery in the past, The Analyst™ will ask further questions including this one:
Have you had a Hysterectomy, a procedure in which the uterus and possibly the cervix and ovaries are removed?
Possible responses:
→ No / don't know
→ Partial/subtotal, no ovaries removed/cervix intact
→ Total / radical, no ovaries removed
→ Hysterectomy with one ovary removed
→ Hysterectomy with both ovaries removed

The Diagnostic Process

Based on your response to this question, which may indicate partial hysterectomy, total/radical hysterectomy, hysterectomy with one ovary or hysterectomy with both ovaries, The Analyst™ will use differential diagnosis to consider possibilities such as Postmenopausal Issues.  When the uterus has been removed, you should experience no more periods.  When both ovaries are removed, the levels of estrogen in the body drop dramatically and women usually experience symptoms of "surgical menopause" within a few days of surgery.
