Replacement Of Missing Teeth

Evaluating Risk Factors: Gaps In Teeth

Evaluating your likely current (and near future) state of health means taking into account the risk factors — such as replacement of missing teeth — that affect you.   Our medical diagnosis tool, The Analyst™, identifies major risk factors by asking the right questions.

Diagnose your symptoms now!
  • check your overall health status
  • learn what you should be doing right now
  • identify any nutritional deficiencies
If you indicate missing adult teeth, The Analyst™ will ask further questions including this one:
If you have lost adult teeth other than wisdom teeth, have they been replaced by using dentures, permanent bridges, or implants?
Possible responses:
→ I have not lost any non-wisdom teeth / don't know
→ Yes, all missing teeth have been replaced, no gaps
→ Some have been replaced, but there are gap(s)
→ I have not replaced any of my missing teeth

The Diagnostic Process

Based on your response to this question, which may indicate either partial replacement of missing teeth or non-replacement of missing teeth, The Analyst™ will use differential diagnosis to consider possibilities such as TMJ Problems.  Missing teeth should be replaced in order to prevent shifting and therefore misalignment of the remaining teeth, which can lead to TMJ.
