Birth Control Pill Use

Evaluating Risk Factors: Birth Control Pills

Evaluating your likely current (and near future) state of health means taking into account the risk factors — such as birth control pill use — that affect you.   Our medical diagnosis tool, The Analyst™, identifies major risk factors by asking the right questions.

Diagnose your symptoms now!
  • check your overall health status
  • understand what's happening to your body
  • identify any nutritional deficiencies
If you indicate having used hormones, The Analyst™ will ask further questions including this one:
Are you currently taking birth control pills?
Possible responses:
→ Don't know
→ No
→ Yes, for a year or less
→ Yes, for 2-4 years
→ Yes, for more than 4 years

The Diagnostic Process

Based on your response to this question, which may indicate either not currently on birth control pill or current birth control pill use, The Analyst™ will use differential diagnosis to consider possibilities such as:
Breast Cancer

Statistics now show that the wide use of the Pill has given rise to health hazards such as breast cancer, high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease on a scale previously unknown in medicine.

Copper Toxicity

Estrogen-containing birth control pills can raise serum copper levels.

Coronary Disease / Heart Attack

Statistics now show that the wide use of the Pill has given rise to health hazards such as breast cancer, high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease on a scale previously unknown in medicine.

Folic Acid Deficiency

Birth control pills reduce the folic acid content in the body.

Gallbladder Disease

Increased risk of gallstone formation has been observed in women who take oral contraceptives.  Women of childbearing age using oral contraceptives may want to select one with a low estrogen level to reduce their risk, or use other methods of birth control.

Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)

Statistics now show that the wide use of the Pill has given rise to health hazards such as breast cancer, high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease on a scale previously unknown in medicine.

Magnesium Requirement

Those on birth control pills should take supplemental magnesium.
