Level Of Excitability/Enthusiasm

What Causes Lack Of Enthusiasm?

Lack of enthusiasm can have various causes, ranging in severity from 'minor' to 'serious'.  Finding the true cause means ruling out or confirming each possibility – in other words, diagnosis.

Diagnosis is usually a complex process due to the sheer number of possible causes and related symptoms.  In order to diagnose lack of enthusiasm, we could:

  • Research the topic
  • Find a doctor with the time
  • Use a diagnostic computer system.
The process is the same, whichever method is used.

Step 1: List all Possible Causes

We begin by identifying the disease conditions which have "lack of enthusiasm" as a symptom.  Here are three possibilities:
  • Magnesium Toxicity
  • Caffeine Intoxication
  • Mercury Toxicity

Step 2: Build a Symptom Checklist

We then identify all possible symptoms and risk factors of each possible cause, and check the ones that apply:
nausea for 1-3 months
preauricular node problems
high caffeinated soda consumption
moderate afternoon/evening fatigue
coffee consumption
chronic diarrhea
unexplained missed periods
cysts in breasts
angry/hostile disposition
specific muscle weakness
dark spots on gums
back-of-neck lymph node problems
... and more than 60 others

Step 3: Rule Out or Confirm each Possible Cause

A differential diagnosis of your symptoms and risk factors finds the likely cause of lack of enthusiasm:
Cause Probability Status
Caffeine Intoxication 97% Confirm
Magnesium Toxicity 30% Unlikely
Mercury Toxicity 2% Ruled out

Arriving at a Correct Diagnosis

The Analyst™ is our online diagnosis tool that learns all about you through a straightforward process of multi-level questioning, providing diagnosis at the end.

In the Mind Health section of the questionnaire, The Analyst™ will ask the following question about level of excitability/enthusiasm:
How excitable/enthusiastic are you generally?
Possible responses:
→ Indifferent / hard to stimulate
→ Average / don't know
→ Excitable, easily stimulated
Based on your response to this question, which may indicate either being not easily excited or being easily excitable, The Analyst™ will consider possibilities such as:
Mercury Toxicity (Amalgam Illness)

Nervous excitability can be a symptom of mercury toxicity.
