Dr. Jared Hanson N.D., L.Ac. is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and a licensed Acupuncturist practicing in New York City. Dr. Hanson specializes in natural therapies for chronic conditions, supporting and enhancing the body's innate ability to heal itself. Dr. Muehsam has made extensive study of traditional healing systems including Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, and homeopathy, as well as the medical and therapeutic applications of yoga. Her private practice integrates Western medicine with a number of wholistic practices. Her emphasis is on an individualized approach to health care; her orientation is patient-centered, as opposed to disease, condition, or system-centered. She specializes in life-challenging and complex cases, including cancer, women's' and men's' health issues, and pain management.
