Web Site: www.drdeanna.com/| I am a doctor of naturopathic medicine trained at Bastyr University (www.bastyr.edu) and licensed as a primary-care physician in Washington State. I am also a Certified Midwife. I primarily work with patients to help clarify their treatment options, both naturopathic and conventional, for a wide range of conditions. Together with my patients, we build a treatment protocol, which may include neutriceuticals, dietary changes, and herbal remedies. Areas of special interest and research include cervical dysplasia (abnormal PAP), breast cancer prevention and treatment, osteoporosis, bio-identical hormones, hypothyroid, fatigue, IBS, PCOS, infertility, food allergies and menopausal issues. I also see clients with autism, ear infections, fibromyalgia, environmental allergies, autoimmune disease, prostate cancer, lymphoma, and others. Working individually with my patients, we strive to get to the underlying causes of their medical conditions by focusing on detoxification, immune balance, adrenal support, and dietary changes to help strengthen their whole system. In June of 2005, I will be sitting for the board examinations to become a Certified Midwife in New York. |
