Core Stability

Definition of Core Stability:

Core stability is the ability of the muscles of the torso to help maintain good posture and balance, especially during movement.  Whenever we move – for example reaching forward to pick something up – the core region is tensed first.  This can be felt by placing a hand on the abdomen.
