Diagnose-Me.com makes use of Javascript and Cookies.  You will not be able to complete our Questionnaire unless these are enabled.

Why disable Javascript or Cookies?

There are several reasons why Cookies or Javascript may be disabled on your browser:
  • You may have disabled them, believing that they pose a security threat;
  • You may have set your browser's security settings too high;
  • This may be your browser's default setting, which you have never changed.
Some advertising companies do use Cookies in order to track your visits to their sites, but Cookies can only be used to store limited information on your computer.  Any personal information that is stored in these Cookies will be information that you have typed in, such as your name or email address.  A Cookie that has been created by one web site is not accessible by any other site.

If you have Javascript or Cookies disabled on your computer, many web sites will not function properly and your 'web experience' will be less than it could be.  We recommend always having Javascript and Cookies enabled.  Javascript is usually enabled, so we will limit our discussion here to Cookies.

Enabling Cookies In Your Browser

If you have already tried this and it did not work, click here for instructions on how to clear your browser's Cookie Cache.

Enable Cookies for Internet Explorer 8

  1. Click "Start" and select "Control Panel".
    (Note: With Windows XP Classic View, click the Windows "Start" button, then select "Settings" and "Control Panel").
  2. Open the Internet Options icon.
  3. Choose the "Privacy" tab.
  4. Click the "Advanced" button.
  5. Check the box "Override automatic cookie handling" under the Cookies section in the Advanced Privacy Settings window.
  6. Under First-party Cookies, select the "Accept" (this is recommended) or "Prompt" option.
  7. Under Third-party Cookies, select the "Accept" (this is recommended) or "Prompt" option.
    (Note: If you select the "Prompt" option you will be prompted every time a Web site attempts to send you a cookie to click "OK".)
  8. In the Internet Options window, click "OK" to exit.
  9. Click here to continue.

Enable Cookies for Internet Explorer 7

  1. Click "Start" and select "Control Panel".

Enable Cookies for Mozilla Firefox 3.x (PC)

  1. In Mozilla Firefox, select "Tools" from the file menu.
  2. Select "Options".
  3. Click on the "Privacy" icon in the top panel.
  4. Check the box corresponding to "Accept cookies from sites".
  5. Click "OK" to save and close.
  6. Click here to continue.

Enable Cookies for Mozilla Firefox 2.x (PC)

  1. In Mozilla Firefox, select "Tools" from the file menu.
  2. Select "Options".
  3. Click on the "Privacy" icon in the top panel.
  4. Check the box corresponding to "Accept cookies from sites".
  5. Click "OK" to save and close.
  6. Click here to continue.

Enable Cookies for Mozilla Firefox 1.x (PC)

  1. In Mozilla Firefox, select "Tools" from the file menu.
  2. Select "Options".
  3. Click on the "Privacy" icon in the top panel.
  4. Click on the "Cookies" tab.
  5. Check the "Allow sites to set cookies" checkbox.
  6. Click "OK" to save and close.
  7. Click here to continue.

Enable Cookies for Mozilla Firefox (Mac)

  1. Go to the "Firefox" drop down menu.
  2. Select "Preferences".
  3. Select the "Privacy" icon.
  4. Under "Cookies", mark the checkbox for "Allow sites to set Cookies".
  5. Click here to continue.

Enable Cookies for Safari

  1. Go to the "Safari" drop down menu.
  2. Select "Preferences".
  3. Select the "Security" icon at the top panel.
  4. Under "Accept Cookies" section select "Only from sites you navigate to".
  5. Click here to continue.


If your browser is not included above, please contact us, stating your operating system and browser type/version (e.g. Windows XP, Internet Explorer 7.0)

If you continue to experience difficulties after enabling Cookies, we suggest you clear your browser's cache – see instructions below.

Clearing Your Browser's Cache

Please note that while clearing your cookies may resolve the problem, it will also remove your saved settings for sites you've previously visited.

Clear the Cache for Internet Explorer 8

  1. Click "Start" and select "Control Panel".
    (Note: With Windows XP Classic View click the Windows "Start" button and select "Settings" and "Control Panel").
  2. Open the "Internet Options" icon.
  3. Click on the "General" tab if it isn't selected already.
  4. Under the Browsing history section, click the "Delete..." button.
  5. Place a check mark in the "Cookies" box (the other options are up to you; we recommend the defaults)
  6. Click "OK" to close the window.
  7. Click here to continue.

Clear the Cache for Internet Explorer 7

  1. Click "Start" and select "Control Panel".
    (Note: With Windows XP Classic View click the Windows "Start" button and select "Settings" and "Control Panel").
  2. Open the "Internet Options" icon.
  3. Click on the "General" tab if it isn't selected already.
  4. Under the Browsing history section, click the "Delete..." button.
  5. Click the "Delete cookies..." button.
  6. Select "Yes" if a box appears to confirm.
  7. Click "OK" to close the window.
  8. Click here to continue.

Clear the Cache for Internet Explorer 6

  1. Click "Start" and select "Control Panel".
    (Note: Windows XP Classic View click the Windows "Start" button and select "Settings" and "Control Panel")
  2. Open the "Internet Options" icon.
  3. Click on the "General" tab if it isn't selected already.
  4. Under the heading "Temporary Internet files," click the "Delete Cookies..." button.
  5. Click "OK" for the "Delete all cookies in the Temporary Internet Files folder?" prompt.
  6. Click "OK" to exit.
  7. Click here to continue.

Clear the Cache for Mozilla Firefox 3.x (PC)

  1. In Mozilla Firefox, select "Tools" from the file menu.
  2. Select "Options".
  3. Select the "Privacy" tab.
  4. Click the "Show Cookies..." button.
  5. EITHER locate the cookies for "Diagnose-Me.com" and click the "Remove Cookie" button for each OR click the "Remove All Cookies" button.
  6. Click the "Close" button.
  7. Click the "OK" button to exit.
  8. Click here to continue.

Clear the Cache for Mozilla Firefox 2.x (PC)

  1. In Mozilla Firefox, select "Tools" from the file menu.
  2. Select "Options".
  3. Under the "Private Data" heading, click the "Clear Now" button.
  4. Click "OK" to exit.
  5. Click here to continue.

Clear the Cache for Mozilla Firefox 1.x (PC)

  1. In Mozilla Firefox, select "Tools" from the file menu.
  2. Select "Options".
  3. Click on the "Privacy" icon in the top panel.
  4. Click on the "Cookies" tab.
  5. Check the "Clear Cookies Now" button.
  6. Click "OK" to save and close.
  7. Click here to continue.

Clear the Cache for Mozilla Firefox (Mac)

  1. Go to the "Firefox" drop down menu.
  2. Select "Preferences."
  3. Select the "Privacy" icon.
  4. In version 2.0, click on the "Clear Now" button under the "Private Data" heading. In version 1.5, click "Clear Cache Now." In 1.0, next to "Cache," click the "Clear" button, and then "OK."

Clear the Cache for Safari

  1. Go to the "Safari" drop down menu.
  2. Select "Preferences".
  3. Select the "Security" icon at the top panel.
  4. From the Security dialog box, click "Bookmarks".
  5. Click "Show Cookies".
  6. From the Cookie dialog box, click to choose cookies from youtube.com, and click "Remove". Alternatively, if you want to delete all cookies, click "Remove All".
    7. Click "Done".
